Re-branding
Meemo's brand identity and other components were rooted from the core character which is the Flamingo, the company mascot. Through the flamingo, it dictated a lot of the brand direction in the beginning and created a very pink UI.
When I came to Meemo, I submitted a brand pitch which consisted of screens, new brand voice, and a total visual revamp. I pushed for a Design System to make our production easier and more streamlined across the design team of 5 during that time (2019).
After a few months of deliberation, we were able to do workshops which helped us collaborate on what would be Meemo's new brand voice and components.
